What is the Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County?
The Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County is a non-profit
organization that promotes the highest possible standards of service,
care and well-being for older and disabled adults. Over the past ten
years the Health Care Providers Council membership has grown to over 100
individuals who represent various organizations committed to providing
exceptional services to seniors in our community.
The council serves many purposes:
Provides professional support
Provides educational opportunities through seminars and in services
Provides an arena for networking
Provides the community-at-large with current information on senior
healthcare and other senior issues
Assists other communities with the development of similar councils
In addition, the Health Care Providers Council supports charitable
organizations in Pierce County through financial contributions that
promote family support and community development, including the
Alzheimer's Association, American Red Cross, YWCA, Salvation Army, The
Family Renewal Shelter, Relay for Life, and Senior Centers.
